About Temple Baptist Church

Temple Baptist Church is a church with a heart for our community and our surrounding areas as well as for the world.  Our goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our church family invites you to come and worship with us soon.

Our Pastor

Pastor Aaron Weido was saved in 2006.  Since that time, God has continued working in his life for His honor and glory.  Pastor Aaron Weido has received training and teaching through his local church and at Bible college. 

Pastor Aaron moved to New Iberia, Louisiana, in July of 2011 to begin pastoring Temple Baptist Church.  We have enjoyed the blessings of God’s forward movement in His church.

Pastor Aaron has been married to his wife Amy for over 18 years. They have five children — 4 sons named Aaron (Jud), Austin, Asa, and Andrew and one daughter named Adrianna. Their family enjoys actively serving in the church.

Exactly what it is the gospel?  The word "gospel" means good news.  It is simply the good news of Jesus Christ.  The gospel is good news to the sinful man that through Jesus Christ you can be saved. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that allows us to experience salvation through Jesus Christ...Let us explain.
